The foursome of golfers play the hole as they typically would. Once each golfer is on the green you award points based on who is closet to the hole. But it is important to remember it does not matter how many strokes it took you to get there.
Once all balls are on the green the points are awarded as folllows
- Clostest to the pin: 3 Points
- Second Closest : 2 Points
- Third Closest: 1 Point
- Furthest: 0 Points
Once the round is complete the points are added up from all holes. The golfer with the most points is the winner.

What makes this fun is that this golf game is perfect for groups with large differences in skill. Playing a scramble or game of wolf with a player who has twenty handicap strokes on you isn’t going to work out too well.

The most obvious strategy is to place your ball near the green but not on it. By doing this you will be close to the green meaning you will likely be the last to shoot once others are on the green.
This gives you advantage as you will be able to know how close you need to get the ball to the pin in order to win.
Placing your approach shot close to the green will also give you a much better opportunity to stick one close to the pin. This is a considerably easier location to place the ball close to the pin when compared to your approach shot.
