St Andrews, Scotland
Of course, the birthplace of golf was going to make our list! This iconic course is something that should be visited by every golfer.
There are seven golf courses on this compound but of course the crown jewel is the old course. This trip is ideal for those who love golfs history. Championships have been played on the old course for over 600 years, so to say the history is rich is an understatement.
There are pubs and restaurants in the area though the focal point of a trip to St Andrews would be for the golf and the history behind it.
For golf enthusiasts and those who love the history behind the game Scotland presents the perfect trip to satisfy those needs.
Alberta presents a great opportunity to golf with our neighbours to the North though make sure you visit in the summer months. With beautiful mountains lakes and rivers its difficult to not fall in love with some these courses.
